bLOOM IN OAXACA

SAN AGUSTINILLO, méxico

march 10th - 16th 2026

OPEN FOR EVERYONE

Imagine waking up to the soothing sounds of the Pacific Ocean and being surrounded by the lush beauty of Oaxaca’s coast. This is your invitation to set aside your daily to-do’s, recharge,  nourish yourself with sunshine, ocean, yoga, deep rest, and fun activities with like-minded souls.

It’s a pleasure to invite you to one of my favorite places on earth - where the ocean heals, sun recharges your soul, the earth grounds and the culture inspires you. The retreat will take place just before the Spring Equinox, the astrological new year and it’s perfect timing for you to give thanks, release the dullness of winter, and get inspired to step into a lighter energy.

Sometimes the best way to shake off the old, and get your creativity flowing again is just to change your surroundings. A new environment can wake up your senses, spark fresh ideas, and help you break out of the same old routine.

Throughout our time together, you’ll be held in a beautiful retreat space up on a hill, where you can reconnect with yourself, nature, and a supportive community.

The retreat will take place in a cute little town called San Agustinillo with restaurants, cafés, local shops and the beach just a walking distance from the retreat space.

We offer an experience that includes vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, guided meditations, sound journey, sharing circles, journaling, workshops, breathtaking sunsets, delicious local food, and fun excursions.

Our retreats invite you to explore the deeper essence of yoga - beyond just the physical postures. It's an invitation into presence, rest, connection, and a sense of inner safety. We’ll explore topics that might encourage deeper reflection on self-love, self-awareness, acceptance, personal accountability, and the vision you hold for yourself.

Tanya Jordan

Based in Toronto, Tanya Jordan (@tanyajordaa) is a dedicated yoga and meditation teacher who has been practicing since 2016 and teaching since 2019. Her extensive training includes a 250-hour Yoga Teacher Training, 100-hour Meditation Teacher Training, Yin Yoga Certification, Tantra Yoga Training, and several mentorships that have deepened and refined her personal and teaching practice.

Tanya first turned to yoga as a way to manage stress and quickly discovered its profound impact beyond just the physical and mental, and the different ways the practice allows us to connect with ourselves and others. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that true change begins from within—the real beauty of yoga is what happens inside.

During this retreat, Tanya will co-teach alongside Daniella, offering yoga sessions and leading a playful workshop designed to explore and open the heart space.

Sofía Polo Hernández

Sofía Polo Hernández (@soundhealing.sofia) lives in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, where she works as a sound facilitator. For several years, she taught at a university, but eventually reached a point where she felt lost and disconnected from herself. That sense of disconnection sparked a profound shift - she left the city and moved to the ocean, seeking reconnection. It was there that she discovered sound therapy, and something within her clicked. Through sound, she found stillness, true rest, and a renewed sense of presence.

Sofía will be offering a sound bath: an immersive experience where you lie down or sit quietly, receiving the vibrations of instruments like singing bowls and chimes. It’s a space to release tension, quiet the mind, and gently return to yourself - no effort required. Just let the sound and vibrations do its work.

FAQs

  • Yogaleza was created by Daniella Mir—a curious, passionate, creative, and courageous soul. The seed was born in 2020 during the pandemic, originally as a supportive space for women of color to come together online, practice yoga and meditation, and share their experiences in a supportive environment.

Daniella is a big music enthusiast, and always creating soulful and vibey playlist for her classes. She also loves to travel, read books, cooking, films, live music, and dancing. Whenever she gets a chance, she goes for hikes in nature, swimming, sauna bathing, and also enjoys being a gym-baddie. She also has an iconic little elderly pug named Diego.

  • Everyone's welcome at this retreat - no matter your background, gender, or where you're from! Whether you're coming solo, with your sweetheart, or bestie, we’ve got a spot just for you. We only ask of you to have a open mind and heart.

Let us know if you are travelling with someone that you would like to share rooms with, we will do our best to pair you.

  • We welcome people of all experience levels to join our retreats. We are aware of the stigma of being “not the most flexible” person in the room or having a “yoga-body” and consider this in our sessions. Our mission is to create a non-judgemental space where you can explore ways to be more comfortable in your practice.

If you're completely new to yoga, practicing for a full week might feel a little different and sometimes intense for your body at first. We gently encourage you to listen to your body and take things at your own pace. We are experienced teachers and teach variations for all levels.

For us, it’s not about being flexible, it’s more about learning how to accept and be at ease with what is for right now. We encourage growth and progress, as well as stillness and self-compassion. We also encourage a practice that makes you feel good, while also acknowledging that yoga can sometimes bring up a range of emotions - and that’s completely okay. If that means that you need to rest and lay down the whole class, well then that is welcome too! It’s all about being mindful, present to what you need and having a curious mind!
