Yogaleza summer retreat

a space for black, brown, asian, mixed heritage womxn from the global south

Held in björnbacka, Stockholm

July 1st - 5th 2026

This unique experience allows you to reconnect with yourself, nature and other like-minded souls. We will stay in beautiful Swedish country oasis that can be reached from Stockholm City within 45 minutes. You will have gardens, forests paths and dreamy lakes nearby. This year, we are expanding into a larger space while keeping the intimacy and depth that defines our retreat - with the same incredible team as last year!

In times when the world feels like it’s drastically shifting and injustice and suffering are constantly in front of us - it’s natural to feel hopeless, enraged, or deeply saddened. This retreat is not about bypassing those feelings, but about creating an anchor for resilience and alignment, and offering you tools and knowledge to ground yourself.

Resting and listening to your body is a powerful practice that helps you become more aware and resilient in the face of everything presented to you.

Our retreat invites you to explore the deeper essence of yoga, beyond the physical postures. It’s a journey of reconnecting with your essence, nature, the elements, and your creative spirit.

What To expect?

  • 5 days & 4 nights in the beautiful retreat center Björnbacka near Stockholm City. A new and bigger location in the Swedish country side.

  • Accomandation in a shared double triangle house or shared double room. First come, first served.

“Yogaleza is such a special retreat. You can just tell it was put together with so much love and intention. It's not just yoga, breathwork, or rest. It's more profound - an exploration of how we as womxn of color can purposefully navigate the world around us within the safety of a community.

The food was delicious, the venue is stunning. And the cherry on top was the gorgeous weather we were gifted. What a wonderful place to hold space for your inner child.

- Kat, Yogaleza Summer Retreat 2024

"This was my first time at a retreat, and I absolutely loved it. Daniella and the team created such a warm, inclusive, and safe space where I truly felt I could be myself. On top of that, the food was incredible, and the workshops were both beautiful and deeply reflective. I felt held, with plenty of space to rest, reconnect, and take care of myself. I'm leaving the retreat with so many valuable tools for my personal growth, and I’m deeply grateful for the whole experience."
